Chelsea's Mason Mount named men's player of the year

Chelsea youngster have been named their player of the year. Mason Mount had been enjoying his season so far in the league have gotten nine goals and seven assist for the Blues.

Chelsea are currently in fourth place in the Premier and have a final to play against Manchester City in the UEFA Champions League on May 29.

Recall that the Chelsea academy graduate spent last season on loan at Derby County in the Championship under former Manager Frank Lampard.

Lampard seems to have worked with him brought him into the senior team in his first campaign and he has since been an member of Chelsea squad.

Under new manager, Thomas Tuchel the English international has continued his fine form so far and he's expected to be in the squad to face Leicester City later today.

Chelsea will be hoping for a positive result against the Foxes who defeated them over the weekend in the FA Cup final.
