Edinson Cavani voted Man Utd player of the month for the first time

Manchester United forward has been in great form since he arrived at Old Trafford. The Uruguay international looks to have settled well in England and adapted to the Premier League.

Many thought that Edinson Cavani will struggle with the pace of Premier League when he arrived last summer but he seems to have proved his critics wrong.

If you recall that Manchester United signed the former Napoli forward on a short term deal after he left Paris Saint-Germain as a free agent last year.

Although, Cavani was signed to complement the effort of their top striker, Anthony Martial. But the French forward hasn't been available in recent months due to injury.

Cavani, 34, has scored 15 goals in 34 appearances in all competitions for Manchester United in his debut season.

The 34 years old goal scoring form prompted the club to reward him with a new deal few days ago.

If you recall that Cavani was expected to leave at the end of the season with reports that he could return to South America to play for Boca Juniors.

Meanwhile, the fans of Manchester United have voted the Uruguay international their best player for the month of April.

The former Paris Saint-Germain forward was spotted with the award as he posed for the camera.

Cavani is expected to lead Manchester United attack when they host Fulham on Tuesday night in the Premier League.
