Erling Haaland wins Bundesliga player of season ahead of Robert Lewandowski

Borussia Dortmund star, Erling Haaland has won the fan-voted Bundesliga Player of the Year. 

The award was tipped to be won by inform Robert Lewandowski of Bayern Munich who has already scores 41 goals in the Bundesliga this season. 

The Poland international broke Gerd Muller’s goals record in 1971-72, after he scored on the final game of the season as Bayern Munich lifted the title. 

Meanwhile, the fans have voted youngster Erling Haaland as the winner for the player of the season. 

The Norway international is one the most sort after players in Europe at the moment. 

Haaland has scores 27 goals and 8 assists in 28 games for Borussia Dortmund this season. He also guided Dortmund to finish in third position in the Bundesliga table. 

While receiving the award, he took to his Twitter page and posted:
