Ex Gunners Star Kanu Nwankwo Sends Final Message To Arsenal Ahead Of Villarreal Game

Arsenal set to face Villarreal on Thursday night in the second leg of the Europa League Semi Final. 

The Gunners lost 2-1 in the first leg in Spain but have an away goal. 

Mikel Arteta will be hoping for a positive result at the Emirates stadium in the game which will see Unai Emery return to the Emirates for the first time since he was sacked last year. 

Ahead of the 8pm GMT at the Emirates stadium, former Arsenal star Kanu Nwankwo has sent a message to the team. 

The former Nigerian captain has urged the Gunners to go for goal and claim a spot in the final. 

Taking to his Instagram page @kingkanu4 ,he wore an Arsenal jersey with the message in his caption:

"COME ON BOYS. COME ON YOU GUNNERS. We need this. We’ve got this....Finals here we come. 💪🏽 #positivevibes #believe"

Just so you know, Arsenal wore the number 25 shirt during his spell at Arsenal from 1999 till 2004.

He joined the Arsenal football club for £4.15 million from Inter Milan and he won two Premier League titles, League Cup with the North London side.
