REAL MADRID closed the gap on Atletico at the top of the La Liga table with a rousing 4-1 win over Granada.

Luka Modric and Rodrygo put the visitors 2-0 ahead at the break.

Granada grabbed a lifelife in the second-half but a quickfire double from Alvaro Odriozola and Karim Benzema sealed victory.

 Madrid leapfrog Barcelona back into second, just two points off the leaders Atletico with two games remaining. Next up for them is a trip to Athletic Bilbao. Granada stay in 10th
