Manchester City defender, Aymeric Laporte is has made the decision to represent Spain at Euro 2020 this summer.
This comes after a personal request from La Roja boss Luis Enrique to allow the defender play for his side.

The France-born Manchester City defender has made a total of 51 appearances for Les Bleus at youth level.

Larpote is yet to play for the senior side of France national team. He was last called up to France’s squad in August 2019, but he withdrew two days later with a knee injury which ruled him out for a large part of the season.

Laporte has made 27 appearances for Pep Guardiola’s Man City this season and scored the decisive goal in their triumph over Tottenham in the Carabao Cup final.
