The former Napoli forward has out pen to paper on a new deal which is expected to run until 2022 with Manchester United.
It appears Manchester United have convinced Cavani to stay for at least another season at Old Trafford stadium.
Cavani was rumoured to leave Manchester United at the end of the season to join South America club, Boca Juniors. According to the Sun UK, he wanted to be close to his family members.
But it appears that Cavani has changed his mind to sign a new deal. Just so you know that the Uruguayan striker has so far scored 15 goals in his first Campaign in the Premier League.
After he signed the deal, Cavani said: "From the very first moment that I arrived, I felt the confidence of the manager. As a player, this belief gives you the perfect opportunity to play your best football and I want to thank him for that."
If you recall that Cavani joined Manchester United in the summer of 2020 after he left Paris Saint-Germain as a free agent.
