West Brom who are already relegated took the lead from a well taken strike from Kanu Robinson Kanu but the Reds equalised ten minutes later when Mohamed Salah produced the same technique.
Meanwhile, Jurgen Klopp snatched a late winner from Alisson Becker, who headed a corner kick in the 90th minutes of the game.
Alisson has become the first goalkeeper to score a competitive goal for Liverpool since the club was founded in 1892.
Liverpool's victory lifts them to fifth in the Premier League table, just a point behind Chelsea and three behind Leicester City with two games left to play. Chelsea host Leicester in two days' time. West Brom stay 19th.
