They led 1-0 at the break, after Kane broke the deadlock just before the half-time whistle and Tottenham’s dominance continued in the second period. Reguilon forced Patricio into a good save, before Kane and Alli hit the post, but it was Hojbjerg who doubled their lead, after Bale’s shot was saved by Patricio, but Hojbjerg was there first to fire it into the back of the net.
This victory moves Tottenham up to sixth in the table, with just two games remaining and they face Aston Villa next time out. Meanwhile Wolves remain 12th and they travel to Everton in midweek.
