Fabregas who played along with Kante in Chelsea revealed how the midfielder was late for a team meeting because of a car accident.
Fabregas revealed that the incident happened in 2018. N'Golo Kante was driving his £20,000 second-hand Mini Cooper when he collided with a lorry on the King's Road on his way to Chelsea training ground.
Although, Kante wasn't hurt during the accident but one of his car wing mirrors was knocked off during the crash.
Fabregas revealed that Chelsea were preparing for their League Cup semi-final against Arsenal on that day.
Speaking to Daily Telegraph, Fabregas said: 'Everybody knows he is a really good human being.
'One day, we met in the morning, we were playing at night, and everyone was 'where's N'Golo, where's N'Golo, we're starting the meeting' and normally he was always on time.'
The former Barcelona star added that Kante was late for the meeting because he was taking pictures with fans after the car crash.
He revealed the rest of the team were waiting for Kante because he usually does come to training late.
Fabregas added:' Eventually, he arrived and everyone started clapping and Antonio [Rudiger] said 'what's happened?'
'And he was telling us that he's had a car crash and some people couldn't believe it was him and they were taking pictures and he wanted to be polite.'
N'Golo Kante is expected to start as Didier Deschamps side set to faceGermany in Munich on Tuesday night in their opening game.
France have been listed among the favourite nations to win the European tournament.
