Euro 2020: Ronaldo nets brace to become all time scorer in European competition as Portugal thrashed Hungary 3-0 (Highlights)

Portugal begin their European championship tournament with a 3-0 victory over Hungary in front of more than 60,000 fans in Budapest.

The Hungarians held Portugal to a goaless draw until the 83rd minutes with a Raphael Guerreiro's shot with the outside of the foot took a massive deflection off defender Willi Orban to break Hungary's brave resistance.

Three minutes later, Ronaldo made it 2-0 from the penalty spot. Cristiano Ronaldo became the top scorer in men's European Championship history. 

Ronaldo's 87th-minute penalty for his 10th goal in the competition, overtaking France's Michel Platini on nine goals.

The Juventus forward got his brace few minutes later when he took the ball around goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi for Portugal's third.
