Nigerian Defender Onome Ebi gifted shopping bag after scoring first ever hat-trick for her club

It was an emotional moment for Nigerian player after she scored her first ever hat-trick in her football career. 

Super Falcons defender, Onome Ebi was on the score sheet when her club, Minsk FK as they thrashed FC Gomel 11-0 over the weekend in the Belarusian Vysshaya Liga Women’s side. 

The defender started the game for Minsk and played all 90 minutes as they kept a clean sheet. 

It all started after Karina Stankevich and Anastasia Pobegaylo had given Minsk FK a two-goal lead before Ebi scored the third goal in the 17th minutes. 

Onome Ebi went ahead and scored her second 31st minute before she completed her hat-trick in 81st minutes. 

The victory moved Minsk FK to second position in the league table with 36 points from 13 games.

The Nigerian defender was super excited about her performance in the game which also earned her the man of the match award. 

She took to her social media space and shared pictures from her goal celebration as well as moment she was presented a gift. 

Sharing the photos, she captioned: "First ever Hattrick and Player of the Match."
