Nigerian striker Jude Odion Ighalo has won Al-Shabab's Player of the Month award for May

Nigerian striker seems to have settled well with life in the United Arab Emirates. 

It's been gathered that Odion Ighalo has won Al-Shabab's Player of the Month award for May 2021.

The 2019 Africa Cup of Nations top scorer was nominated for the award for the month of May. 

The 31-year-old bagged a brace in a seven-goal thriller against Al-Ettifaq, was on target against Al-Ain and Al Faisaly, before netting another pair of goals on the final day of the season vs Al Wehda

Ighalo scored a total of nine goals in thirteen league matches for Al-Shabab. 

He played a major role in Al-Shabab finishing second in the Saudi Arabian Pro League table.
