Ex Super Eagles striker Yakubu Aiyegbeni marks his daughter, Katriel 10th birthday

Former Nigerian footballer is currently in celebratory mood because his daughter is a year older today.

The former Everton and Blackburn Rovers striker Yakubu Aiyegbeni has taken to his social media platform to celebrate their daughter Katriel Ayegbeni as she celebrates her 10th birthday.

Yakubu Ayegbeni, known as Yakubu, is a Nigerian former professional footballer who played as a striker. His nickname is "The Yak." 

The 38 years old striker is currently married to Yvonne Lameen Ikhana since 2008 and they have one beautiful daughter together. 

He took to his social media to upload some lovely snaps of his daughter with the caption: "Happy happy 10th birthday 🎂 my beautiful katty kattybooboo I love you so much ❤️🙏⭐️ 😘 God is great."

Yakubu is the third highest scorer in the history of the Nigeria national football team. He represented Nigeria at four African Cup of Nations finals, the 2010 FIFA World Cup and the 2000 Summer Olympic and finally retired in 2012 with 57 caps.

He also played over 250 Premier League matches for Portsmouth, Middlesbrough, Everton, and Blackburn Rovers during his spell in the English Premier League.
