England lost the European Championship to Italy days ago. The Three Lions of England lost 3-2 following penalty shoot in front of their fans at Wembley stadium. 

Gareth Southgate side broke the deadlock from a volley in the second minute of the game. Luke Shaw connected with Trippier cross to strike the ball pass Gianluigi Donnarumma. 

The English side were comfortable all through the first half, but Roberto Mancini changed his tactics in the second and got the equaliser. Leonardo Bonucci who won the man of the match scored in the 66th minutes of the game. 

The game was stretched to penalty where Gianluigi Donnarumma who was named the player of the tournament saved three spot kicks. 

England's Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho and Bukayo Saka missed the three penalties. These three players have been allegedly abused by some fans. 

The English Football Association has condemned the act by some fans. They described it as "unacceptable" and shouldn't be allowed in football. 

Meanwhile, Spainish football club, Barcelona have reacted with a post on their social media space. 

Early this morning, Barcelona posted group photograph of the England players during the European Championship with the caption which reads: "Losing a penalty shootout is a part of football, and a part of life. Racism is not."
