Photos: Partey, Pepe Smith-Rowe and Chambers resume training for Arsenal ahead of pre-season

Arsenal have started their preparation ahead of the 2021-2022 season. Recall that the Gunners finished in eight position in the Premier League last season.

It was a disappointing season for Mikel Arteta who lifted the FA Cup (2019-2020) in his first season as manager of the club.

Arsenal players have resumed training ahead of their pre-season which is expected to kick off next week.

Arsenal will kick off their pre-season tour against Hibernian on 13th of July 2021. The Gunners will face Scottish Champions, Rangers four days later.

Earlier today (July 7th 2021) some players were spotted at the London Colney sport centre.

Thomas Partey, Callum Chambers, Nicolas Pepe, Emile Smith-Rowe were the first set of players to arrive the training ground. They were pictured carrying out some fitness test ahead of the pre-season games.

Other players are expected to return to training later this week while players who represented their countries in the European Championship are still on holiday.
