Spainish goalkeeper Unai Simeon becomes FIRST goalkeeper to win MOTM award in Euros

Spain has qualified for their 3rd semifinal of the EUROS in 4 straight tournaments, as the 2008 and 2012 winners won 3-1 on Penalties. 

Switzerland came back from a goal down  to draw 1-1 after Xherdan Shaqiri scored and held on with 10 men till the penalties. 

They eventually lost on penalties after Unai Simeon showed class as he saved 3 penalties. 

After the match, Unai was awarded the Star of the Match. He set a new record on becoming the first goalkeeper to win the award since the start of the tournament.

Spain will now face Italy in the semi final after the Auzrri defeated Belgium 2-1 in Munich in the other fixture.
