"All I wanna do is to go where I'm wanted" - Ainsley Maitland-Niles begs Arsenal to sell him before transfer window shuts

Arsenal youngster have pleaded for the club to allow him leave this summer. Maitland-Niles is a product of Arsenal's academy having joined the club at the age of six.
Ainsley Maitland-Niles who is one of the academy product of the North London club hasn't been able to maximize his potential at the club. He has been used as a utility player in the squad under several managers at the club. 

Recall that the 24 years old made his professional debut at the age of 17 years in 2014. 

On Monday (August 30th 2021), Maitland Niles took to social media to express his frustration at the club. He urged Arsenal to allow him leave before the transfer window close. 

"All I want to do is go where I'm wanted and where I'm going to play," Maitland-Niles wrote on Instagram and tagged the club's official account.
Recall that the Gunners rejected a loan offer from Everton. Rafa Benitez has shown interest in the England international. 


The 24-year-old midfielder spent last season on loan at West Bromwich Albion.He made 15 appearances for Sam Allardyce’s side who were eventually relegated from the Premier League. 


Maitland-Niles made one appearance this season as substitute in the final stages of Saturday’s 5-0 thrashing away to Manchester City.
