Barcelona have confirmed the signing of a new player following the exit of their captain and club legend, Lionel Messi.
Recall that Barcelona announced that Lionel Messi will leave the club after 21 years. The Argentine international guided Barcelona to finish third in the La Liga table last season.
According to Sky Sports, Barcelona cited "financial" and "economic" reasons behind their decision to turn down contract extension for Lionel Messi.
Meanwhile Barcelona have confirmed the signing of Antonio Aranda. The 20 year old midfielder has joined on free transfer from Granada. Antonio Aranda has signed wo year deal with an option for another season with Barcelona. The midfielder was spotted along with Barcelona president Joan Laporta, the vice-president, Rafael Yuste, the director of the formative football Joan Soler and the director of the formative football, José Ramon Alexanco as the Joan Cryuff training center.
Antonio Aranda is the fourth player to join Ronald Koeman's side in free agent following the arrivals of Sergio Aguero from Manchester City, Emerson Royal from Real Betis and Memphis Depay from Ajax.
