Chelsea have landed in North Ireland Ahead of their UEFA Super Cup clash against Villarreal (Photos)

Chelsea are preparing for their UEFA Super Cup clash against Villarreal in Wednesday. Recall that the Blues lifted the UEFA Champions League trophy last season after they defeated Manchester City 1-0 in the final. It was Chelsea's second UEFA Champions League trophy. 

Thomas Tuchel was appointed manager of the West London side in January, he replaced Frank Lampard who was sacked due to poor results in their matches.

The former Borussia Dortmund and Paris Saint-Germain coach guided Chelsea to finish fourth in the Premier League.

Blues will face Unai Emery’s side, Villarreal that defeated Manchester United in the final to win the Europa League. The Yellow Submarine lifted the trophy with the former Arsenal and Sevilla coach last season.

Chelsea have landed in Belfast, North Ireland ahead of tomorrow’s Super Cup clash with Villarreal.

Thomas Tuchel named 24 players for the game, including Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Trevoh Chalobah who spent last season on loan elsewhere. Chelsea's new signing Marcus Bettinelli made the team that travelled this afternoon.
