Former Chelsea striker has left his club, FC Lugano after he played three games for the Swiss team. Recall that Former West Ham and Newcastle ace Ba joined the Super League outfit in June as a free agent after leaving Istanbul Basaksehir.


Senegal international Ba made three cameo appearances for Lugano. But But the 36-year-old has now left the south Switzerland club following a change of ownership.

US businessman Joe Mansueto, the owner of MLS side Chicago Fire, has newly taken charge at the Stadio Cornaredo, The Sun reports.

Ba scored seven goals in 13 games for West Ham before landing a 2011 move to Newcastle.He went on to strike 29 times in 58 Toon appearances, prompting a £7million move to Stamford Bridge in January 2013.

He has also appeared for French side Rouen, Belgians Mouscron, German club Hoffenheim, Turks Besiktas and Goztepe, and Chinese outfit Shanghai Shenhua.
