Manchester United have confirmed "only one" transfer signing this summer. The Red Devils completed the deal of Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund.
Jadon Sancho is a winger who currently plays for Premier League club Manchester United and England national team.
The England international joined Manchester United for £73million from Bundesliga side. He reportedly signed five-year contract with the Club. Jadon Sancho has been handed jersey number 25 instead of the iconic jersey number 7 which is currently worn by Edinson Cavani.
On Monday (August 9th 2021), Manchester United confirmed that their new signing has resumed training with his team mates.
Jadon Sancho was spotted at the Carrington training center this afternoon for the first time since he joined the club. He took part in his first training session and shared some images on his social media space platform.
The 21-year-old also met his manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at the training ground. He pose for several pictures with his manager who looked excited to have the talented winger in his team.
Manchester United will kick off their 2021-2022 Premier League season against Leeds United at Old Trafford on August 14th. Jadon Sancho is expected to be fit for the game against Marcelo Bielsa side.
