Manchester United club's official website has crashed following the announcement of Cristiano Ronaldo transfer.
The club's website www.manutd.com could not handle the massive traffic caused by the Cristiano Ronaldo's return to the club.
Ronaldo, 36, has completed his return to Old Trafford twelve years after he left the club to join Real Madrid for then world record transfer fee.
Several minutes after the post confirming Ronaldo's transfer went live, United's website crashed.
Ronaldo is currently in Lisbon, Portugal where he will undergo his first medical before traveling to England next week.
The 36-year-old becomes Ole Gunnar Solskjaer third summer signing after Jadon Sancho and Rafael Varane have joined from Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid respectively.
