Nigeria have been drawn against Egypt in Group D ahead of AFCON 2021 (See Full Draw)

The draws for the African Cup of Nation 2021 has been officially confirmed. The draws went down today ahead of the tournament which will be held from 9 January – 6 February 2022.

Cameroon are the host of the forthcoming edition of the African competition while Algeria are the defending champion.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria have been draw in Group D where they will face Egypt, who are one of the most successful countries to win the AFCON. 

Recall that Gernot Rohr guided Nigeria to clinch bronze at the 2019 edition of the AFCON in Egypt.
