Diaz scored the winning goal just nine minutes in after Calabria's hard work to win the ball back. His close-range shot was helped over the line by Audero.
The hosts pushed for an equaliser and Maignan made a couple of good saves to protect his clean sheet before Rebic curled a very late effort just wide of Audero's goal.
