Southampton vs Man U: Anthony Martial has recovered from knee injury to start along with Fernandes and Pogba while Sancho and Varane benched

Solskjaer has made two changes in the Manchester United squad, Scott McTominay has dropped to the bench as because he isn't fully fit, he has been replaced by Nemanja Matic. Anthony Martial has recovered from knee injury to replace Daniel James.

Meanwhile, Manchester United new signings Rafael Varane and Jadon Sancho have been named on the substitute bench.

Edinson Cavani is not in the squad because he only returning to training with his teammates on Friday. Marcus Rashford, Dean Henderson, Alex Telles and Anthony Elanga are also out of action, but Jesse Lingard does make the bench after recovering from Covid.
