Chelsea Vs Zenit: Azpilicueta makes 50th appearance while Lukaku leads the attack

Chelsea begin their UEFA Champions League trophy defense against FC Zenit. The Blues will host the Russian based club at the Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night. The game is expected to kick off at 8pm GMT. 

Recall that Thomas Tuchel guided Chelsea to lift the UEFA Champions League trophy last season after they defeated Manchester City 1-0 in the final. 

The Blues have been in great form this season so far. They are currently sitting on top of the Premier League table. 

Chelsea captain Cesar Azpilicueta will record his 50th appearance in the UEFA Champions League. The Spanish international is expected to lead the team this night. 

Thomas Tuchel have started Cesar Azpilicueta, Rudiger, Christensen and James in the defense.  

Meanwhile, Romelu Lukaku is expected to lead the attack for the Blues. Recall that the Belgian international joined the club from Inter Milan this summer transfer window. He will be assisted by Mason Mount and Hakim Ziyech in the attack.
