Cristiano Ronaldo Reacts After Scoring Twice On His Second Debut For Man U

Cristiano Ronaldo has expressed his thoughts after he made his second debut for Manchester United. 

The 36-year-old scored twice in Red Devils 4-1 win over Newcastle United at Old Trafford stadium on Saturday. 

Recall that Ronaldo completed his return to Old Trafford on transfer deadline day from Juventus. The Portuguese international returned to the club after 12 years and got on the scoresheet  in front of the home fans. 

Manchester United fans were thrilled to watch their club legend show off his iconic goal celebrations.

After the game, he took to his verified Instagram page to express his excitement while he appreciated the fans for the welcoming reception. 

Sharing on his verified Instagram page (@cristiano), he captioned: "My return to Old Trafford was just a brief reminder of why this stadium is known as the Theater of Dreams. For me, it has always been a magical place where you can achieve everything you set your mind into." 

Ronaldo scored twice to restore Manchester United lead after Manquillo had equalised for the Magpies. 

The former Real Madrid star also appreciated his team mates for the understanding on the pitch during the game. 

He added: "Along with all my teammates and with the amazing support that we always get from the stands, we face the road ahead with confidence and optimism that we’ll all be celebrating together in the end." 

Finally, Ronaldo revealed that he's happy to return to the Premier League.
