Mikel Arteta welcome 4 players back to the training ahead of Norwich game

Arsenal are currently preparing for their weekend game against Norwich City. The Gunners will host the Caneries this Saturday. The game is expected to kick off at 3pm GMT.

Recall that Mikel Arteta side lost all three games in the month of August. Arsenal are currently bottom of the Premier League table.

Arsenal missed some key players such as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Willian, Alexander Lacazette after they tested positive for coronavirus during their match day one fixture.

Mikel Arteta have confirmed that some players have returned from injuries while others recovered from Covid-19. 

Ben White who joined from Brighton Hove Albion is now back in full training after he recovered from Covid-19. The defender signed long term deal with The Gunners for £50m this summer transfer window. 

Arsenal have also confirmed that defender Gabriel Magalhães, striker Eddie Nketiah and Thomas Partey have recovered from ankle injuries. The three players are available for Mikel Arteta selection against Norwich City. 

ABSENTEES 

Arsenal are expected to miss Mohamed Elneny who suffered a hamstring strain. The Egyptian is expected to be ruled out for two to three weeks.

Meanwhile, Tomiyasu is unavailable for the game against Norwich because he's yet to obtain his work permit. The Japanese international joined the Gunners from Bologna on transfer deadline day.
