Ahmed Musa Reacts After He Became The Most Capped Nigerian Player With 101 Appearances

Super Eagles captain has written his name in the history books follwlong his appearance for Nigeria in their game against Central Africa Republic on Sunday.

Nigeria recorded 2-0 win over the Wild Beast in Douala in Cameroon in their 2022 World Cup Qualifiers game.

Goals from Leon Balogun and Victor Osimhen in the first half guided Nigeria to the top of the Group C clash.

Ahmed Musa who started the game, reached his 101 caps for Nigeria national team. This made him the most capped player in the history of international football in Nigeria.

After the game, Musa took to his verified Instagram page (@ahmedmusa718) to express his excitement following the achievement. 

The former Leicester City, CSKA Moscow and Kano Pillars star appreciated his fans, family and team mates as wells as the officials of the team. 

He captioned the post: "Wow! What can I say? I wouldn't have been able to achieve this without the support of my family, team mates, the officials and my fans.
