Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala praises her son after he became one of first spinal surgeons in Maryland

 

World Trade Organization DG, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala celebrates her son following his latest achievement in his medical career. 

The Director General of the World Trade Organisation, Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala shared photos of her son, Dr. Uchechi Iweala performing surgery along with other medical professionals in Maryland. 

Sharing photos of Uchechi in a theater, the proud mum wrote

"Congratulations Dr. Uchechi Iweala, on being one of the first spinal surgeons in Maryland to perform a successful navigated lumbar spinal fusion using a robot! So proud to be your Mum! Keep it going
