Nigerian and Leicester City star Kelechi Iheanacho marks 25th birthday with throwback of his golden ball award at FIFA U17 World Cup

Nigerian striker celebrates his birthday with a throwback snap of the moment he won the FIFA U17 world cup. 

Kelechi Promise Iheanacho is a professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Leicester City and the Nigeria national team. 

Iheanacho began his senior career at Manchester City where he made his debut in 2015–16 season, but Kelechi moved to Leicester City in 2017 for a reported £25 million fee.

The former Manchester City star is 25 years old today October 3rd 2021. He posted images of himself at the U17 world cup, where he Iheanacho played a significant role winning the Golden Ball award for player of the tournament. Iheanacho scored six times, including once in the final, and provided seven assists.

Sharing the photos on his verified Instagram page (@kelechi72), he captioned: "Happy birthday KELECHUKWU

Meanwhile, Leicester City posted moment Iheanacho guided the Foxes to clinch the FA Cup last season.
