Tottenham Hotspur recorded 3-2 win over Newcastle United at the St James’ Park on Sunday evening.
Steve Bruce who is currently under pressure fell to a defeat in his 1000th game manager in the Premier League in front of the new club owners.
The Magpies took the lead under three minutes when Wilson had fired the hosts ahead. But goals from Ndombele, Kane and Son made it a comfortable for Spurs at half-time.
Newcastle were reduced to ten as Shelvey was shown a second yellow card and given his marching orders. But the home side had a chance to spark a comeback as Dier put the ball into the back of his own net to make it 3-2.
Newcastle remain winless in the league so far and they sit 19th in the table ahead of a trip to Crystal Palace next weekend. Meanwhile Tottenham move up to fifth and they will face West Ham United next time out in the Premier League.
