Sergi Barjuan who is the coach of Barcelona B team has been appointed interim manager to replace Koeman

Barcelona have appointed Sergi Barjuan  as their new interim team manager following the sack of Ronald Koeman.

Juan Laporte fired Koeman last night following their shock 1-0 defeat to Real Vallecano.

Barcelona have been struggling so far this campaign, with the Spanish club sitting in 9th position in the La Liga table.

Sergi Barjuán, who is the current Barcelona B coach, is appointed as the interim coach of the first team until the hiring of the new coach is finalised.
