Paris Saint-Germain star has been voted the best goalkeeper in the world according to Ballon D'Or.
The 2021 edition of the Ballon D'Or award went down at the Théâtre du Châtelet on the 29th of November.

Gianluigi Donnarumma has picked up the 2021 trophee yachine, which is the maiden of the award for the category. 

The 22-year-old was inspirational to Italy's triumph at the 2020 European Championship where they defeated England in the final at Wembley. 


The former AC Milan goalkeeper recently joined Paris Saint-Germain after he left the Rossoneri as a free agent. 
Meanwhile Chelsea's number Edouard Mendy came in second place. The Senegal international who joined from Rennes guided the Blues to finish winner of the UEFA Champions League last season. 
In third place comes Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Juan Oblak who played a key role in Atletico Madrid La Liga title race last season. If you recall that Diego Simeone men lifted the Spanish league title in style.
