La Liga: De Jong, Depay and Coutinho helps Xavi secure back to back win as Barcelona defeated Villarreal 3-1 (Highlights) 2021-2022

Barcelona beat Villarreal 3-1 at the Ceramica on Saturday night. It's a second win in a row for Xavi Hernandez who has been appointed as manager of Barcelona. 

It was De Jong’s first-half goal gave the visitors the lead but Emery’s side took advantage of their momentum after Samuel Chukwueze equalised in the 75th minutes after getting on the end of Danjuma’s hooked pass. 

Memphis Depay took advantage of Estupinan’s risky back pass, latching onto the loose ball before rounding Rulli and finishing with his right foot to put the Blaugrana in the 2-1 lead. 

Then Coutinho’s late goal bolster the lead, as his converted penalty following Foyth’s challenge inside the 18-yard box. The win keeps Barca seventh position in the league standing.
