Lionel Messi ruled out of PSG clash with Leipzig

Paris Saint-Germain have confirmed that Lionel Messi will be unavailable for their Wednesday's UEFA Champions League clash against RB Leipzig. 

It's been gathered that Messi has not included in Mauricio Pochettino’s 21-man squad for the game on Wednesday.

The former Barcelona star picked an injury and was substituted in the first half during their weekend game. 

Pochettino explained that the Argentine superstar had picked up a knock after the 2-1 victory. 

A statement on PSG‘s official website reads: “Leo Messi has hamstring discomfort in his left leg and knee pain following a contusion.”

Meanwhile Marco Verratti and Sergio Ramos are also unavailable for the game.
