Netherlands coach, Louis van Gaal whose on wheelchair he joins his players to celebrate their qualification for 2022 World Cup

Former Manchester United coach Louis van Gaal was spotted celebrating on a wheelchair in as he celebrates with the Netherlands players in the dressing room after reaching the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

The Dutch booked their place in Qatar next year with a 2-0 win over Norway in Rotterdam on Tuesday as late goals from Steven Bergwijn and Memphis Depay sealed victory.

Van Gaal watched the match from the stands in a wheelchair after heinjured his hip falling off his bike on Sunday.

The Netherlands players and entire staff were excited as they sang and danced in the dressing room.

Liverpool's Virgil Van Dijk was caught on camera leading the team as they celebrated their qualification. 

Recall that Netherlands missed out on qualification for the 2018 edition in Russia.

Van Gaal returned for a third spell as national team boss in August after the Dutch had crashed out of the Euros at the round of 16 to the Czech Republic. He was in charge as the Netherlands finished third in their last World Cup appearance in Brazil seven years ago.
