Ex American baseball Star, Alex Rodriquez spotted at Chelsea stadium to watch his FIRST EVER football game (Photos)

Former baseball star visited the Stamford Bridge to watch his first ever football match. 

The 46 years old American has never watched a live football match according to him. 

Chelsea hosted Brighton Hove Albion on Wednesday night in a game which ended in a 1-1 draw. 

Alex Rodriquez was spotted with hanging out with Chelsea's Romelu Lukaku as he held the Blues shirt together. 

He also spoke to American Christian Pulisic at the sidelines after the game.

Alexander Emmanuel Rodriguez, nicknamed "A-Rod," is an American former professional baseball shortstop and third baseman, businessman and philanthropist. Rodriguez played 22 seasons in Major League Baseball for the Seattle Mariners, Texas Rangers, and New York Yankees. 

He took to his verified Instagram page (@arod) to describe his experience with the caption which reads:

"Tonight I attended my first football match ever. And all I can say is … WOW, what an incredible experience.

As Americans we grow up around the “big four”: Baseball, basketball, American football and hockey. But worldwide, it's obvious that the king of sports is football, or soccer here in the U.S.

I’ve always known that ⚽️ fans are among the most passionate in the world, but witnessing the atmosphere at the Bridge took it to another level. I am grateful to @chelseafc for hosting me. Steve, Paul, Natasha … thank you.The facility, the fans, the history. All of it was second to none. 👏 👏 👏I also had the privilege of meeting @cmpulisic and @romelulukaku!
