Formula 1 star, Lewis Hamilton has been officially knighted by the Prince of Wales during a ceremony at Windsor Castle today, December 15. It's been gathered that Hamilton was joined by his mother Carmen Lockhart.
Hamilton was recognised in the New Year Honours list following a record-breaking year in which he eclipsed Michael Schumacher's all-time victory tally and emulated the German by winning a seventh world title.
Recall that on Sunday, Lewis Hamilton lost the Formula 1 championship to his rival Max Verstappen who claimed his first Formula 1 world title at the Abu Dhabi.
