La Liga: Benzema goal helped Real Madrid beat Athletic Bilbao 1-0 (Highlights) 2021-2022

Karim Benzema scored 5h3 only goal for Real Madrid on as they beat Athletic Club 1-0 at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu on Wednesday night.

The 33-year-old striker struck in the 40th-minute which saw Real Madrid opened up a seven-point lead at the top of the LaLiga Santander table.

The goal came after Marco Asensio attempted a shot from the edge of the box that was only parried by Unai Simon, but the ball landed straight at the feet of Luka Modric, who sent it towards Benzema at the first time of asking and he poked it into the back of the net.
