La Liga: Kubo scores winner as Mallorca defeats Atletico Madrid 2-1 (Highlights) 2021-2022

Kubo's dramatic late goal snatches a 2-1 win for Mallorca. The first half was a tight affair. Atletico started well and could have taken the lead through Lodi and Correa.

Meanwhile Mallorca grew in confidence and could have opened the scoring themselves through Kang-In but they finally got the breakthrough through Cunha's improvised finish. 

Mallorca hit back when Russo headed in from a free-kick, and it got even better for the visitors when Kubo raced away on the break to finish neatly past Oblak.

 Atletico were stunned by the comeback and their day got worse when Joao Felix missed a glorious late chance to equalise. It wasn't to be and Mallorca held on for their first away win over Atletico in LaLiga in nine games.
