2021 AFCON: Arsenal Star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang ruled out of Gabon clash against Ghana due to suspected heart problem

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been left out of the Gabon squad to face Ghana.

Gabon are expected to face the Black Stars of Ghana in their second group outing at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations.

According to reports gathered, the Arsenal star is ruled out after scans carried out by CAF show suspected heart problems.

Aubameyang who is the captain of Gabon missed their opening game due to the positive Covid-19 test. 

Axel Meyé and Mario Lemina are also ruled out for the same reason.

Gabon need a point to qualify after their recorded 1-0 victory over Comoros in their first game.
