Carabao Cup semi-final 2nd leg: Rudiger goal secured final ticket for Chelsea as Blues beat Tottenham 1-0 (Highlights) 2021-2022

Chelsea book their place in the final of the EFL Cup after a commanding performance in the capital. The Blues took the lead through Rudiger inside the first half, with Gollini's error allowing him to head home from a Mount corner. 

Spurs did win a penalty before the first 45 minutes came to an end, but VAR officials decided Andre Marriner's original decision was wrong after he ruled Rudiger had fouled Hojbjerg in the box. He awarded a second penalty in the second half, but the officials sided with Chelsea for a second time after Kepa brought down Lucas Moura in the box by winning the ball.

Spurs' bad luck continued as Kane's goal was ruled out for offside, and their wait for a trophy goes on.
