It's official!! Liverpool have completed signing of Luis Diaz from FC Porto

 

Liverpool Football Club have completed the signing of Luis Diaz from FC Porto.

It's been gathered that the 25-year-old has signed a long-term contract with the Reds after passing a medical this weekend.

Diaz is expected to arrive at Merseyside once after his participation in international duty with Colombia. The forward will lead the attack when Colombia face Argentina in a World Cup qualifier in Cordoba on Tuesday evening. Diaz has 31 caps, scoring seven goals for his country.

If you recall that he made 125 appearances and scored 41 goals for Porto. He had previously represented Barranquilla FC and Junior FC in his homeland before making the switch to Europe in 2019.

Liverpool have confirmed that Díaz will wear jersey number 23.
