(Photos) Aymeric Laporte shares images of his injured leg after stuart Armstrong's tackle

Manchester City star has taken to his social media space to share snaps of the nasty injury he received from Southampton player Stuart Armstrong. 

Recall that Aymeric Laporte was on the receiving end of a nasty challenge from Stuart Armstrong. The game finished 1-1 draw against Southampton at the Saint Mary's stadium. 

It was the Saints that took an early lead from Kyle Walker Peters before Laporte equalised for the Citizens. 

The Southampton midfielder was fortunate to avoid a red card for the tackle, instead given he was given a yellow card after a VAR review, because it was deemed a ‘glancing blow’ that was ‘lacking intensity’.
