Rafael Nadal has emerged winner of the Australia Open in Melbourne. This comes after the Spanish tennis star won from two sets down against Daniil Medvedev on Sunday afternoon, January 30. 


It was a record 21st Grand Slam men's title in the most stunning fashion, as the 'clay king' fought back coming into the tournament as the sixth seed, Nadal rallied to win 2-6 6-7 (5-7) 6-4 6-4 7-5 at the Rod Laver Arena.
