Chelsea star midfielder, Mateo Kovacic has been announced as the Premier League goal of the month award for January.
The Croatia international picked up the award after his stunning long-range goal against Liverpool on 2nd January.
Kovacic netted the stunning goal when the Chelsea were 2 goals down against Liverpool. He volley from the edge5of the box giving the Reds goalkeeper Kellaher no chance to save the shot.
Then Christain Pulisic later scored the equalizer a few minutes before halftime to make it 2-2 at the break.
Recall that Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah put Jurgen Klopp side in the two goals lead.
