Bayern Munich secures 1-0 win over Frankfurt at the Deutsche Bank Park.
It was Bayern Munich that took all-three points, thanks to Sane’s 71st-minute goal.
The second half played out largely the same as the first, with the visitors controlling possession and leaving space to get hit on the counter.
Nagelsmann’s change would make the difference however, as Sabitzer was replaced with just over 20 minutes to go, allowing Musiala to drop back into midfield and provide a space for Sane to go forward. The alteration worked to almost immediate results as the Germany international winger latched onto the end of a Kimmich pass and beat an in-form Trapp just four minutes later.
Eintracht Frankfurt can take a lot of positives away from the performance - including the play of their goalkeeper, who was sensational. The result puts Bayern Munich clear at the top by nine points, while Glasner’s men stay 10th.
