Serie A: Giroud scores brace to help AC Milan end Inter 28 unbeaten run in the derby (Highlights) 2021-2022

Giroud's second-half brace gives Milan a 2-1 win over rivals Inter. The league leaders dominated the first half, with Perisic volleying in the opening goal after Maignan pulled off great saves to keep out Brozovic, Dumfries and Martinez.

Milan turned things with Giroud scoring twice in just under four minutes late on. He slid in to poke Diaz's deflected effort past Handanovic before pulling off a lovely turn and low finish to seal the win. With just seconds left, Hernandez was sent off for a late challenge on Dumfries.

The win moves Milan up to second place and they're now just one point behind Inter, though they have played a game more. Next up for them is the Coppa Italia quarter-final against Lazio. Inter's 28-game unbeaten run at home comes to an end.
